This semester, i have really enjoyed learning about the different topics that pertain to the weather. For example, i know that if i had never taken this class, i wouldn't know the difference between dew point and humidity. (Dew point is the temperature at which the moisture in the air will condense, and humidity is the capacity the air has allotted for moisture in the air). I really liked learning about the weather around the world, and what controls factor into a certain area's weather. Learning about the different climates, although not something i would use in as much detail as we learned, was interesting to see the differences around the world, and why different factor affect locations. This semester also gave me a LOT of great ways to incorporate learning about the weather in the classroom! The experiments we performed in class were definitely applicable to an elementary classroom, and i plan on pursuing some of them in the future! :)
